The Biden Administration has voiced its commitment to rebuild transatlantic relations, with the specific hope to gain allies in countering China’s technological and trade influence. What are the prospects for renewed transatlantic cooperation on innovation and other issues including the current WTO dispute settlement system or climate change? What could a transatlantic agenda from the next German government look like?
Dr. Daniel Hamilton, Professor at Johns Hopkins University SAIS and Director of the Global Europe Center at the Wilson Center in Washington, DC and Daniel Andrich, General Manager of AmCham Germany, and former President & CEO, Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) in Washington, DC, will explore these questions.
The event will be moderated and discussed by Matthias Koeplin, AmCham North Bavaria, and Prof. Andreas Falke, Director DAI Nuremberg. Remarks and discussion will be held in English.
This event is part of Transatlantic Innovation Week 2021
